Question on Best Buy card
yes i know what your thinking, what is this doing in here? well the thing is i dont quiet know who to ask this and its late so i cant call best buy. I want to buy a xbox-360 pro, in order to pay monthly im thinking about getting a best buy credit card, im probably gonna cancel it once i pay for the 360.
i will make sure that the monthly price will be payed so hopefully intrest wont be a problem, what i want to know is what is the APR on the card as well as how long the 0% APR last. another thing i want to know is lets say that the 360 is $300 if i pay say $100 each month and pay off the x-box can i cancel the card without any other fees? and what is the approval time on one of theses cards? one last question is it possible to buy the 360 with the credit from the card then pay it off monthly with around $100 each month? The APR on a Best Buy card is 20.99%. In addition, the 0% APR is for the first 6 months on the first purchase over X dollars (I think 299?) You must pay off the purchase within the specified period, otherwise they charge you back interest.
As for canceling, provided the balance is paid in full, you can cancel any credit card in the world without a fee (unless it is one of those freaky contract based cards, which are uncommon). Payments can be made in any amount, from the minimum (payment to interest only) to above minimum (paying interest + principle) to the entire payment (any interest accrued and the full amount of the principle).
